I ordered a Level 2 size 3 safe. It did not arrive on the next day delivery as promised, I "chased" the non-delivery late in the day and was advised it had been mis-routed. I was promised delivery the following day and this was made.
Following the delivery, I discovered that a LEVEL 1 size 3 safe had been delivered. It was not possible to establish the error until the wrapping had been removed, the paperwork actually related to the safe which I had ordered.
I pondered the error and decided to keep the safe which had arrived. I contacted SSS Ltd, explained the situation, requested a refund of the difference and after receiving an apology, was assured the money would be refunded.
Obviously, such a basic error should not have occurred. However, the offer to rectify the mistake was made and it was my choice to keep what I had received.
The test of any on-line trader is whether they will correct their mistakes.
